Product
Riga Lacquer is high quality birch plywood, which is varnished on one or on both the sides for interior application.

Grades for overlaying
B, S and BB grade plywood is varnished (in accordance with SFS 2413).

Application

LC - walls, ceilings, stands, working surfaces, furniture and other components for hard end use conditions
LN - walls, ceilings, stands, furniture and other components for easy/light end use conditions
LWB - walls, ceilings, stands, working surfaces, furniture and other components for hard end use conditions
LUV - walls, ceilings, stands, working surfaces, furniture and other components for hard end use conditions

Advantage
Environmentally friendly, durable, easy to use, decorative.

Gluing classes
Plywood is glued with waterproof phenol formaldehyde resin adhesive. Bonding is resistant to weather and boiling water. It meets requirements of the following standards:

EN 314 / 3^rd class;
BS 1203 / H4 (previously WBP);
DIN 68705 Part 3 / type BFU 100.

It is also possible to glue plywood with urea-formaldehyde adhesive resin (meets the requirements of BS 1203 / H1 (INT) and moisture resistant urea-formaldehyde adhesive resin which is modified with melamine (meets the requirements of BS 1203 / H2 (MR).

Formaldehyde emission
In accordance with the standard EN 13986 formaldehyde emission meets the Class E1 requirements. Test method EN 717 Part 2.

Overlaying materials
Primer - low viscosity UV hardening primer
Varnish - acid-hardened (LC).
On special request could be used nitro-cellulose (LN); water base (LWB) or UV hardening varnish (LUV).

Overlaying methods

Priming	by roller coating method, 2 overlays 15-20 g/m² each.
Varnishing	LC, LN, LWB varnishes by curtain coating method 80-100 g/m²;
	LUV varnishes by roller coating method 10-15 g/m².

Sanding after priming.

Overlaying
Transparent or with pigment (with 3% white pigment, only for LN and LC overlaying).

Shining
23 - 27% at 60°.

Overlaying fixity
DIN 68861 - 1B - 7B - 8A

On customers' request (with spray).

Sizes:

1220 mm 2440 mm
1250 mm x 2500 / 3000 mm

Other sizes (length 500-3050 mm, width 100-1250 mm) and long grain panels with the length up to 2500 mm on customers' request.
Machining, tongue & groove, jointing available in accordance with the customers' requirements.

Thickness:
6.5, 9, 12, 15, 18, 21, 24, 27, 30 mm.

Tolerance:
Size and right angle tolerance meets the standard EN 315 requirements.
