Product
Birch plywood (Riga Ply) overlaid with a special composite material on both
sides.
Application
Formwork systems.
Advantages
This product produces a better visual appearance to the concrete whilst
protecting the plywood substrate.
The expected life, depending upon the construction and application, may amount
to 100 uses.
The thickness of the composite face material helps to protect the plywood
against swelling.
The composite material is ecologically safe and recyclable.

Gluing classes
Plywood is glued with waterproof phenol formaldehyde resin adhesive. Bonding
is resistant to weather and boiling water. It meets requirements of the
following standards:
EN 314 / 3rd class;
BS 1203 / H4 (previously WBP);
DIN 68705 Part 3 / type BFU 100.
Formaldehyde emission
In accordance with the standard EN 13986 formaldehyde emission
meets the Class E1 requirements. Test method EN 717 Part 2.
Overlay
Composite material is made of wood fibres and polypropylene. Overlay is
glued with D3 or D4 class glues according to the standard
EN 204 requirements. Thickness of the overlay is 1.6 mm.
Standard colour is grey. The surface is glossy or mat.
This material has high resistance to damages and resists surface defects
occurring. Releases well and maintains its performance over longer periods with
good nail-holding property.
Moisture absorption is less than 1.8%, giving minimal weather disruption .
Average - good resistance to ultraviolet rays.
Application temperature range is from - 40 oC to 80 oC.
