FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Where does teak come from?
Teak is a tropical hardwood that grows primarily in Southeast Asia. The teak we supply is sourced from regions where the climate naturally supports teak growth. These environments produce the dense grain structure and natural oils that make teak highly durable and suitable for marine and outdoor applications
Why is teak good for outdoor use?
Teak contains natural oils and a dense grain structure that help protect it from moisture, insects, and decay. Because of these properties, teak has long been used in marine environments, outdoor furniture, and exterior architectural applications.
What makes plywood “marine grade”?
Marine grade plywood is manufactured using high-quality hardwood veneers bonded with waterproof adhesives. The panels are constructed with minimal core voids and are designed to perform in environments where moisture resistance and structural stability are important.
