Teak & Holly plywood is a decorative marine panel featuring alternating strips of teak and light-colored hardwood (commonly referred to as “holly”) laminated onto a marine-grade plywood core. It's primarily used for cabin soles and interior flooring on boats, offering the look of traditional strip flooring with the structural benefits of plywood. The visual effect mimics classic wooden decking, and the panels are designed specifically for interior use.

AMERICAN SPACING

U.S. spacing features wider teak faces separated by contrasting holly lines, producing a bold, clean-lined look. This style is commonly used in American yacht interiors, where the broader pattern emphasizes the warmth and strength of teak while keeping a classic marine character. The wider layout also makes maintenance and refinishing straightforward, making it a practical choice for long-term use.

Teak width: 2 3/8" (60.7mm)

Holly line: 1/4" (6mm)

EUROPEAN SPACING

European spacing uses narrower teak faces with finer holly lines, creating a tighter, more compact stripe pattern. This design is often chosen for modern or European-style builds, where a refined, subtle rhythm is preferred over a bold contrast. The closer spacing gives the deck a sleek, contemporary appearance while maintaining the durability and performance expected in marine flooring.

MARINE-GRADE CORE

Built on a durable marine-grade plywood core designed to resist moisture and movement. This stable foundation provides long-term dimensional reliability in demanding cabin environments.

TEAK & HOLLY FACE

Faced with laminated teak and holly, the surface delivers the clean, striped look associated with classic yacht interiors. The contrast between species highlights the traditional marine aesthetic.

SPACING OPTIONS

Available in both U.S. and European line spacing, giving builders flexibility to choose between a bold, wide stripe or a finer, more compact pattern. Both styles are engineered to deliver consistent strip alignment across panels.

RELIABLE CONSTRUCTION

Precision lamination minimizes the risk of warping or delamination over time. Panels maintain consistent thickness and surface quality, even under heavy foot traffic in marine interiors.

ADHESIVE

Bonded with waterproof phenolic resin adhesive designed to withstand high humidity and temperature changes. This ensures strong bonds between the teak, holly, and core veneers.
