WHAT IS RIGA ANTI-SKID

Riga Anti-Skid panels are phenolic film-overlaid birch plywood sheets designed with a textured surface that provides enhanced traction underfoot. The underlying plywood core offers strength and stability, while the overlaid anti-slip surface improves grip and wear resistance, making these panels suitable for applications where safety and traction are required.

SPECIALTY APPLICATION

Riga Anti-Skid is considered a specialty panel because its surface is engineered for slip resistance and wear performance beyond standard plywood. The phenolic overlay with a mesh or textured pattern increases traction, making it ideal for boat decking, industrial flooring, vehicle floors, and other environments where a safer walking surface is essential.

CORE

ADHESIVE

Bonded using weather-resistant phenolic resin adhesive to ensure both the plywood core and the anti-skid overlay maintain structural performance under normal use conditions.

EDGE

Exposed edges reveal the plywood core beneath the phenolic overlay. Edges should be sealed or finished as required to prevent moisture ingress and maintain a clean appearance in installations.
