TRI-CEL

SIZES & THICKNESSES
48” x 96”
Thicknesses: 12mm, 18mm, 25mm
WHAT IS TRI-CEL
Tri-Cel is a lightweight polypropylene honeycomb panel designed to deliver high stiffness while significantly reducing overall panel weight. The honeycomb core structure provides strength-to-weight efficiency, making it suitable for marine, transportation, and architectural applications where weight reduction is a primary consideration.
SPECIALTY APPLICATION
Tri-Cel is considered a specialty panel because it utilizes a polypropylene honeycomb core rather than a solid wood or foam construction. This internal structure allows substantial weight savings while maintaining rigidity, making it appropriate for bulkheads, cabinetry components, and interior assemblies where minimizing weight without sacrificing performance is important.
FEATURES
-
Honeycomb Core Structure – Polypropylene core provides strength with reduced mass.
-
Lightweight Performance – Significantly lighter than traditional plywood of comparable thickness.
-
Dimensional Stability – Engineered construction helps maintain panel balance under normal interior service conditions.
-
Corrosion & Moisture Resistant – Polypropylene core resists water absorption and rot.
-
Fabrication Ready – Can be cut and shaped using appropriate tools for composite panels.
